Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect resonance chamber from meter. Position chamber and air duct clear of work area.
3. Disconnect meter electrical connector.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:






4. Remove ignition coil wire routing bracket.
5. Remove meter mounting nuts and lift off meter and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install gasket and position meter. Install mounting nuts.
2. Install coil wire routing bracket and mounting nut.
3. Connect meter electrical connector.
4. Connect resonance chamber to meter.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
