1991 Ford Thunderbird LX, 5.0 TSECTION Quick Test B6: Check Harness Short To B+

Turn ignition to RUN position. Disconnect EVO actuator valve harness connector at power steering pump. Measure voltage across pin No. 13 (Yellow/Light Green wire) and pin No. 5 (Black wire). Measure voltage across pin No. 14 (Light Blue wire) and pin No. 5. If voltage is more than 5 volts, a short is indicated. Service wires as necessary and proceed to QUICK TEST A0Β  . If voltage is less than 5 volts, proceed to QUICK TEST B7.
