Steering Wheel: Removal

1991 Ford Thunderbird LX, 5.0 TSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove horn cover and disconnect horn wire electrical connector.
  2. On vehicles with cruise control, disconnect cruise control switch electrical connector.
  3. Loosen steering wheel bolt 4-6 turns. DO NOTΒ  remove bolt.
  4. Break loose steering wheel from steering shaft using a steering wheel puller. Remove steering wheel bolt.
