Steering Wheel: Removal
1991 Ford Thunderbird LX, 5.0 TSECTION Removal
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove horn cover and disconnect horn wire electrical connector.
- On vehicles with cruise control, disconnect cruise control switch electrical connector.
- Loosen steering wheel bolt 4-6 turns. DO NOT remove bolt.
- Break loose steering wheel from steering shaft using a steering wheel puller. Remove steering wheel bolt.
