Temperature Control Cable

1991 Ford Taurus L, 4D Sedan, 3.8 4SECTION Temperature Control Cable
  1. Rotate temperature control knob counterclockwise to cool position. Remove control assembly. See CONTROL ASSEMBLYΒ  removal and installation in this article.
  2. Disconnect temperature control cable from heater housing. Disconnect cable wire from temperature door crank arm. Remove temperature control cable.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust temperature control cable. See ADJUSTMENTS in this article. To install, reverse removal procedure.
