ISSUE:
Use of untested, unapproved fluorescent tracer dyes for A/C system leak checking may damage the air conditioning system. Some of these materials may not be compatible with Ford A/C systems.
ACTION:
When leak-checking an R-12 A/C system with a "black light", use only Rotunda-supplied Part No. 112-R0027, Fluoro-Lite brand dye. No other dyes have been approved by Ford Motor Company.
NOTE:
112-R0027 DYE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH R-134a REFRIGERANT.
