System Integrity Check

  1. Visually inspect electrical components for damaged connections or insulation. Check vane airflow meter for damage. Check air duct damage for looseness. See Figure .
  2. Check vacuum hoses for damage, kinks or poor connections. Check wastegate, actuator and linkage for damage or binding. Ensure turbocharger does not leak oil or make unusual noise when engine is running.
