- Start engine. Observe operation of all gauges. If all gauges are not working, see INSTRUMENT PANEL FUSE CHECK in this article.
- If all gauges except tachometer are working, go to TACHOMETER PULSE CHECK NO. 1. If tachometer is not accurate, go to TACHOMETER TESTING.
