- Using Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055), connect one lead of tester to Black/Yellow wire at keyboard 10-pin connector.
- Instrument keyboard 10-pin connector is located behind trip computer keyboard. See IDENTIFYING ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD CIRCUITS illustration.
- Slowly adjust resistance from 0-1000 ohms and back to 0 again. Check if METRIC, ETA, SET and RESET functions are working.
- If no functions are working, go to KEYBOARD FUNCTION CHECK NO. 5. If all functions are working, replace keyboard. If some functions are working, replace trip computer.
