- Disconnect Central Processing Unit (CPU) 14-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING CPU 14-PIN CONNECTOR illustration. CPU 14-pin connector is located above fuse panel, near left kick panel.
- If seat belt light goes off, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SHORT CHECK NO. 2. If seat belt warning light does not go off, repair Brown/Black wire between instrument panel and CPU.
