  1. Disconnect Central Processing Unit (CPU) 14-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING CPU 14-PIN CONNECTOR illustration. CPU 14-pin connector is located above fuse panel, near left kick panel.
  2. If seat belt light goes off, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SHORT CHECK NO. 2. If seat belt warning light does not go off, repair Brown/Black wire between instrument panel and CPU.
