Installation - Without Key, Non-Tilt
1991 Ford Cutaway 5.8 H, C6SECTION Installation - Without Key, Non-Tilt
- Install key release lever assembly (M/T vehicles) or PRND21 insert (A/T vehicles). Install "T" bolts and lock actuator insert. After assembling flange casting, install a new upper bearing.
- Set lock actuator on drive gear. Install turn signal/hazard switch and key warning. Install ignition switch, and check for proper operation after adjustment. Install steering column to brake pedal support bracket. Install column trim shrouds, steering wheel and pads.
- Install turn signal lever. Using ignition key, rotate lock cylinder to ensure proper operation in all positions. Connect negative battery cable, and check for proper start in Park and Neutral. Ensure vehicle does not start in Drive or Reverse.
