- Lubricate tang of lock cylinder. Attach upper actuator to lower actuator, and lubricate upper actuator. Reassemble flange casting, upper actuator, turn signal switch and lever, drive gear, lock cylinder, steering wheel, pad and steering column trim shrouds.
- Insert ignition key and rotate lock cylinder to verify correct operation in all positions. Connect battery cable. Check for proper start in Park or Neutral. Ensure vehicle does not start in Drive or Reverse.
