1991 Ford Club Wagon E350, 7.3 MSECTION Test 25, Check VRS Amplitude At EDIS Module

With key off and ECA disconnected, disconnect EDIS module from EDIS module tee, leaving diagnostic cable connected to vehicle harness connector. Set DVOM to 20-volt AC scale. Crank engine, and measure voltage between breakout box pins No. J35 (VRS+ E) and J48 (VRS E).

If settled voltage is greater than 0.4 volt, replace EDIS module. Remove all test equipment, and reconnect all components. Clear Continuous Memory, and check for fault codes. If settled voltage is less than 0.4 volt, go to next test.
