Test 22, Check Crankshaft Sensor Pip S
Connect ECA. Connect diagnostic cable connector to crankshaft sensor. Connect LED test light between breakout box pins No. (+) J33 (PIP S) and (-) J2 (IGND D). Crank engine.
If test light blinks continuously, PIP is open between sensor and DIS module. Check connectors, and repair or replace harness. Check for fault codes. If vehicle still does not start, go to next test. If test light does not blink continuously, go to next test.
