Control Valve Body: Disassembly

- Remove 3 Torx bolts and remove separator plate and gasket. Note location and remove check ball, shuttle balls, check valves and relief valves with springs. See Figure.
- Ensure small filter remains with separator plate when plate is removed from valve body. Filter is located in corner of separator plate near converter clutch solenoid connector. Remove retaining plates, dowels, plugs and valves with springs from valve body. See Figure. See related components under CLEANING & INSPECTIONΒ .
