NOTE:
If a defective speedometer module is replaced, an "S" symbol is displayed in upper right-hand corner of speedometer display. Also, a sticker showing previous mileage must be affixed to driver's door pillar.
- Test drive vehicle at least 10 miles to check for proper odometer operation. If odometer accumulates 10 miles then jumps back 10 miles, replace speedometer/odometer module and recheck cluster operation.
- If odometer will not accumulate mileage, check speedometer operation. If operation is not okay, go to TEST Y. If operation is okay, replace speedometer/odometer module and recheck cluster operation.
