Available for 36 months or 60,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, from original warranty start date or through July 31, 1992, whichever provides greatest coverage.

Vehicles Affected
^ All 1989-90-91 Thunderbird and Cougar
^ All 1990 Escort
^ All 1990-91 Taurus, Sable, Tempo, Topaz, Mustang, Econoline, Aerostar, Bronco, F-Series Light Trucks, F-Super Duty, Ranger, Bronco II, Explorer and Medium/Heavy Trucks (except LL/LTL and CL with quad rectangular headlights)
Reason For This Program
The Daytime Running Lights (DRL) control module may malfunction. A malfunctioning DRL module can result in Daytime Running Lights that dim, flicker or go off and in some instances may remain on after the ignition is turned OFF. Normal manual Lo and Hi beam headlight operation is not affected.
Service Action
Replace the Daytime Running Light (DRL) module if the customer is experiencing any of the above described symptoms.
NOTE:
Replacement of headlight bulbs or sealed beams is not covered by this program.
Refunds
If all or a portion of the repair covered by the program (DRL module replacement only - parts and labor) has been paid by the owner and/or the dealer, within program coverage provisions, both the owner and/or the dealer are eligible for a refund.
