This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to correct the grease part number suffix which appeared in Step 5 of the service procedure.
ISSUE: Intermittent or inoperative speed control operation may occur during wet weather operation. This may be caused by a corroded connector at the servo.
ACTION: Inspect the connector at the servo for corrosion to determine if replacement is required. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
1. Disconnect the connector at the servo.
2. Blow dry the connector assembly with shop air.
3. Clean and inspect pins for corrosion.
4. Replace any damaged or corroded pins (D1AZ-14488-E).
5. Apply grease (F2AZ-19584-A) to both ends of the connector to prevent water entry.
6. Reconnect the connector at the servo.
