1988 Ford Taurus L4-153 2.5L HSCSECTION Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On Taurus models, remove radio opening finish panel attaching screw (in lower part of panel), then, on Taurus and Sable models, remove radio finish panel by snapping out.
3. Remove radio bracket-to-instrument panel attaching screws, then push radio to front and raise back end of radio slightly so rear support bracket clears clip in instrument panel. Carefully remove radio from instrument panel.
4. Disconnect radio wiring connector and antenna lead.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
