- Place control button to "ON" position. Apply 12 volts to pin "L". Connect pin "G" to ground. "ON" indicator should light. Apply 12 volts to pin "S". Heated rear window symbol should come on. Remove connections from switch.
- Connect digital volt/ohmmeter between pins "T" and "G". While pressing "OFF" button, resistance should be zero. Release "OFF" button and resistance should be infinite. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals "I" and "T". While pressing "ON" button, resistance should read 950-1050 ohms. Release "ON" button and resistance should be infinite.
