Fuel Pump Test
The fuel pump may be activated by grounding the fuel pump lead at the SELF-TEST connector. Use a jumper lead, and ground the "FP" terminal with the ignition on. This activates the fuel pump. When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
