The CONTINUOUS MONITOR SELF-TEST allows a technician to attempt to recreate an intermittent fault while monitoring the system. The CONTINUOUS MONITOR SELF-TEST may be used in both KOEO and KOER modes.

The test is divided into 4 areas: Establishing Continuous Memory Codes, Clearing Continuous Memory Codes, Continuous Memory Codes To Be Tested, and Continuous Monitor (Wiggle) Test. Perform steps in sequence.
