Control Valve Housing: Reassembly

- Coat new tube seats with petroleum jelly. Install them in housing using Tube Seat Installer (T74P-3504-M). Coat bearing and seal surface of housing with petroleum jelly. Install bearing with metal side covering rollers facing outward. Press bearing into housing using Installer (T65P-3524-A1). Bearing should rotate freely after installation.
- Dip new oil seal in gear lubricant (SAE-80W). Place seal in housing with metal side out. Drive seal into housing until outer edge does not quite clear snap ring groove.
- Install snap ring in housing and press into place using Installer (T65P-3524-A1). Place dust seal in housing with dished rubber side out. Using Installer (T65P-3524-A1), press into place until seal is located behind undercut in input shaft. Apply generous amount of Lubriplate to area between 2 seal lips.
