Blower Motor Resistor
The blower motor resistor assembly consists of 3 resistors (providing 4 speeds) and a thermal limiter which is located a specified distance from the resistors. If the temperature at the thermal limiter reaches 250°F (121°C), the circuit will open, and the blower motor will become inoperative in all except the "HI" position. The thermal limiter is not serviceable and the entire resistor assembly must be replaced if the limiter opens.
