- Remove fuel bowls and float assemblies. Hold bowls upside-down. Float is adjusted correctly if top of float is parallel with float bowl. See Fig 1. To adjust, loosen lock screw and turn adjustment nut until float is parallel.
- Dry float adjustment is only a preliminary fuel level adjustment. Final (wet) fuel level adjustment must be performed with carburetor installed on vehicle. See FLOAT LEVEL - WET .
