Oil Pressure Indicator Light

- Turn ignition on, but do not start engine. Indicator light should come on. Start engine. Warning light should go out within 3 or 4 seconds.
- To test oil pressure switch, turn ignition on, but do not start engine. If indicator light does not come on, disconnect wire from oil pressure switch terminal and touch to ground.
- If light comes on, oil pressure switch is defective. If light does not come on, check for bad bulb or open wiring in bulb circuit.
