- Disconnect linkage from motor. Install Connector Sleeves (C4AZ-14294-B) between motor terminals and volt-amp meter. Connect positive (Red) lead of meter to center terminal on motor end plate, and Green lead of meter to battery positive post.
- Connect a jumper wire between battery negative post to low speed terminal on motor end plate. Check and record current draw. Move jumper wire from low speed terminal to high speed terminal. Measure and record current draw.
- Maximum allowable current draw for either speed is 3.5 amps. If current draw exceeds maximum, check output arm for binding or damage before replacing motor. See Fig 1 .
