Clutch Hydraulic System: Removal
1987 Ford Cutaway 7.5 LSECTION Removal
- Remove cotter pin holding push rod to clutch pedal lever inside cab. Disconnect push rod and remove bushing. Remove 2 nuts holding clutch reservoir and master cylinder assembly to firewall. Remove clutch reservoir and master cylinder assembly from firewall.
- Note routing of tubing to slave cylinder. Lift 2 retaining tabs of slave cylinder retainer bracket. Unhook tabs from bellhousing. Slide slave cylinder outward to remove. Disengage push rod from release lever while removing slave cylinder. Remove system from vehicle.
