1987 Ford Cutaway 7.5 LSECTION Expansion Valve
  1. Remove battery from vehicle. Discharge A/C refrigerant system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Disconnect refrigerant inlet line from expansion valve. Remove bulb insulation from outlet line.
  2. Remove capillary tube bulb clamp from outlet line (remove screw, retainer plate and spring nut). See Fig 1. Remove expansion valve from evaporator refrigerant inlet line. To install, reverse removal procedure, using new "O" rings lubricated with clean refrigerant oil. Leak test, evacuate and recharge system.
