1986 Ford Aerostar V6-183 3.0LSECTION Test Equipment

The test equipment required to conduct Quick and Pinpoint Tests are as follows:
1. Jumper wire.
2. Vacuum pump and vacuum gauge.
3. On EFI models, an EFI pressure gauge.
4. Spark tester and tachometer.
5. STAR tester or suitable equivalent.
6. Digital volt-ohmmeter and an analog voltmeter.
7. Timing light and a non-powered test lamp.
In addition to the above, a breakout box, Rotunda tool T83L-50 is required. During test equipment hook-up follow tool manufacturer's instructions carefully to prevent tool and/or circuit damage. Do not attempt to service the EEC-IV system without the use of the tools mentioned above. To do so will only compromise the integrity of the system and/or result in completely inaccurate test readings.
