- Choke system may not be functioning correctly. Check linkage for proper operation and adjustment. Clean, service or replace as required.
- Choke thermostat housing may be incorrectly adjusted. Adjust choke thermostat setting if needed. If it is a tamperproof type, check for incorrect assembly.
- Intake manifold or fuel charging assembly baskets may be leaking. Replace leaking gaskets as needed.
