  1. Gearshift control mechanism should be lubricated every 2 years or 22,500 miles. Lubricate if shift effort or noise is apparent. The 4-speed gearshift linkage has a grease fitting located on left side of mechanism.
  2. Use a high pressure grease gun to lubricate linkage with multipurpose grease, until grease is visible on operating levers.
