- Place a new inner fiber washer into the planetary gear housing. Install sun gear. Coat new outer fiber washer with petroleum jelly, and install on hub. See Figure . Place hub in planetary gear cage, and install "T" shaped lock key and snap ring.
- Install locking plates on shift hub, with dished side toward planetary gear set. Lower planetary assembly into annulus gear. Be sure tabs on locking plate engage annulus gear teeth. Install snap ring.
