1984 Ford Econoline E150, Van Window, 5.0 F, AutomaticSECTION Timing Check

Disconnect grounded jumper wire from self-test input. Start engine and reconnect grounded jumper wire to self-test input. Check timing within 2 minutes after display of last code. If timing is 27-33° BTDC, proceed to KEY ON-ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) SELF-TEST  . If timing is not 27-33° BTDC, proceed to TEST L  .

NOTE: If engine stalls while testing, proceed to TEST D  , step 10).
