1965 Ford Falcon Base, 2.8L Eng, Standard Trans, Trans Mfr CD 2.77SECTION Vent Valve

Adjust after accelerating pump adjustment completed. With throttle linkage in hot idle position, groove in vent valve rod should be even with edge of vent valve housing (see Fig 1). Adjust by bending arm on vent valve operating lever at point where it contacts accelerating pump lever.
