Defrost Mode
Depressing the defrost symbol push button will override normal mode selection and provide immediate defrosting air to the windshield. As in heat/defrost mode, the A/C compressor will operate depending on evaporator pressure.
The rear defroster is actuated by momentarily depressing the "REAR" defrost button. This should also illuminate the rear defroster light on the display panel. See Figure . The first request for rear defroster operation will last for 10 minutes. All further requests for rear defroster operation will last for 5 minutes, unless overridden by depressing the defroster button once again, which will turn the rear defroster off.

When to See a Mechanic
