EGR Valve

Remove EGR valve. Check for deposits or sticking. Clean as necessary to insure tight valve seat. Connect a hand vacuum pump to valve nipple. Plug second nipple (if equipped). Apply 19.4 in. Hg. Valve should hold vacuum.
