EGR Solenoid

1988 Eagle Premier LX, 2.5 ZSECTION EGR Solenoid

When engine is running, vacuum is applied to the solenoid. If the ECU has energized the solenoid, vacuum will not flow through the solenoid and transducer. If the ECU has not energized the solenoid, vacuum will flow to the transducer. See Fig 1.
