  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the knock sensor heat shield.

  3. Disconnect the knock sensor (1) wire harness connector (5).
  4. Remove the knock sensor retaining bolt (2).
  5. Remove the knock sensor from the cylinder block.
