- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover(s) (1).
- Remove the cowl extension silencer. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, REMOVAL
.NOTE:
The left ignition capacitor (1) is attached at rear cylinder head and the right ignition capacitor (1) is attached at rear of the cylinder head.
- Remove the ignition capacitor wire harness connector.
- Remove bolt (2) and the ignition capacitor (1).
