Capacitor, Ignition: Removal: 6.2L

2024 Dodge and Ram Durango SXT Plus, RWDSECTION 6.2L
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover(s) (1).

  3. Remove the cowl extension silencer. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, REMOVAL .
    NOTE:

    The left ignition capacitor (1) is attached at rear cylinder head and the right ignition capacitor (1) is attached at rear of the cylinder head.

  4. Remove the ignition capacitor wire harness connector.

  5. Remove bolt (2) and the ignition capacitor (1).
