- Remove the oil fill cap (1).
- Lift and separate the engine cover retaining grommets from the ball studs and remove the engine cover (2).NOTE:
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (1) is installed into the air cleaner resonator.
- Disconnect the electrical connector at the IAT sensor (1).
- Gently lift on the small plastic release tab (3) and rotate the IAT sensor (2) about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and remove.
- Check condition of sensor O-Ring, replace if necessary.
