- Gently push the oil pump (1) upwards and press firmly against the block. finger tighten all of the retaining bolts (2) to ensure that the pump is fixed in it's position.
- Using the sequence shown in illustration, tighten the oil pump retaining bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to: TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Install the timing chain cover. Refer to COVER(S), ENGINE TIMING, INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the oil pump pickup tube and oil pan. Refer to: PAN, OIL, INSTALLATIONΒ .
