Module, Security Gateway (SGW): Removal

2024 Dodge and Ram Durango SRT Hellcat PlusSECTION Removal
NOTE:

If a new Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being installed, use the scan tool and perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available).Β 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove passenger side cowl panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the fasteners, passenger silencer panel (1), and disconnect the wiring harness connector.
    NOTE:

    The Security Gateway (SGW) Module is mounted to the Heating Venting and Air Conditioning (HVAC) case on the passenger side.

  4. Remove the bracket bolts (2) and disconnect the SGW Module wiring harness connectors (1).

  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the SGW Module to the bracket.

  6. Remove the SGW Module from the vehicle.
