Diagnostic Test
CHECK TIRES FOR WRONG SIZE, UNDER INFLATION, AND MINI-SPARE INSTALLED
If a wheel speed tone ring was recently installed, it could be the wrong size and is causing this DTC to set.
- This DTC will set if a mini-spare is installed or if a standard tire is the wrong size, under inflated or severely worn.
Do all four tires meet Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) specification?
Yes
- With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
- Perform the DTCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Repair or replace the tire as necessary in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the DTCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .

When to See a Mechanic
