Module, Vehicle System Interface (VSIM): Removal
2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering column opening cover to access the VSIM. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL

- Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the VSIM.
- Press the release tab on the VSIM bracket and remove the module.
