Module, Security Gateway (SGW): Installation
2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Installation

NOTE:
If a NEW Security Gateway (SGW) module is being installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the module. Failure to flash the module will leave the SGW module in a locked mode preventing SGW module operation.
- Install the SGW module.
- Connect the SGW module wire harness connectors.
- Install the SGW module retaining bolts and tighten securely.
- If equipped, engage the wire harness retainers.
- Install the radio. Refer to RADIO, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- If a NEW SGW module is installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the SGW module.
