Module, Radio Frequency (RF Hub): Removal
The Remote Frequency Hub (RF Hub) Module Assembly consists of a harness connector and two pushpin.
The control module is located behind the rear cab panel beneath the rear sliding glass assembly. Note that the remote start antenna is plugged directly into the RF Hub.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Flip the left rear seat cushion.
- Remove the left rear seat, rear inboard with rear seat belt buckle bolt. Refer to BUCKLE, SEAT BELT, REMOVAL .
- Remove left rear seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT CENTER, REMOVAL .
- Remove left rear child seat tether. Refer to ANCHOR, CHILD SEAT, REMOVAL .
- Remove rear left side rear cab trim panel push pins to remove panel. Refer to PANEL, CAB BACK TRIM, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect wire harness connectors (2) and remove the RF Hub retainers. (3)
- If equipped, disconnect the remote start coax cable wire harness connector at the RF hub (1).
