Module, Radio Frequency (RF Hub): Installation

2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Installation

The Remote Frequency Hub Module (RF Hub) assembly consists of a harness connector and two pushpin.

The control module is located behind the rear cab panel beneath the rear sliding glass assembly. The remote start antenna is plugged directly into the RH Hub

  1. Position the RF Hub (1) into place and install and retainers (3).
  2. Connect the wire harness connectors to the RF Hub (2).
  3. If equipped, connect the remote start coax cable wire harness connector to the RF hub.
  4. Install left side rear cab trim panels and install the panel push pins. Refer to PANEL, CAB BACK TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  5. Install left rear child seat tether. Refer to ANCHOR, CHILD SEAT, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install left rear seat. Refer to SEAT, MEGA CAB REAR, INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the left rear seat, rear inboard with rear seat belt buckle bolt. Torque the bolt to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  8. Flip the left rear seat cushion down.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  10. Perform the RF Hub replacement procedure with the scan tool. Refer to RF-HUB, PCM AND BCM REPLACEMENT AND PROGRAMMING ORDER GUIDEΒ .
