Module, Electronic Shift (ESM): Removal

2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. If equipped, remove the center console bezel. Refer to BEZEL, CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the pocket insert from above the radio (1).

  4. Remove two screws (1) that secure the bezel above the radio.

  5. Remove the pocket insert (1) from above the power outlet.
  6. Remove one screw that secures the bezel.

  7. Remove the center stack bezel with a trim stick.
  8. Disconnect all the electrical connectors from the back of the center stack.

  9. Remove the four screws (1) that secure the electronic shifter to the backside of the bezel.
