Module, Body Control (BCM): Installation

2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Installation

  1. Position the BCM (2) and install the two lower and upper BCM bolts (3) to retain the BCM to the BCM bracket (1).
  2. Install the left side instrument panel speaker. Refer to SPEAKER, INSTALLATION .

  3. Connect all wiring harnesses to the BCM (5).
  4. Position the park brake assembly back into place for installation. Refer to PEDAL, PARKING BRAKE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the park brake switch connector.
  6. Install the left sill and cowl panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the remote park release access panel.
  8. Install the amplifier. Refer to AMPLIFIER, INSTALLATION .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10. Review the RF-HUB, BCM, PCM, FOBiK and ELV REPLACEMENT AND PROGRAMMING ORDER GUIDE. Refer to RF-HUB, PCM AND BCM REPLACEMENT AND PROGRAMMING ORDER GUIDEΒ .
  11. Perform the Body verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
