Power Distribution Center - Front
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
- Release the Power Distribution Center (PDC) cover latches and remove the PDC cover.
- Remove the PDC eyelet fasteners (1) and disconnect the eyelet terminals.NOTE:
Eyelet #1 is connected to Battery Positive (B+).
- Fully loosen the PDC fasteners (2) securing the PDC (3).NOTE:
The PDC fasteners are captured and cannot be removed from the PDC.
- Unlatch and remove the PDC (2) from the lower tray, making sure not to damage the connectors (1).
INSTALLATION
- Secure the connectors to the lower tray and install the PDC, making sure the connectors are securely engaged.NOTE:
The connector housings will align to the PDC, but the connector terminals do not fully connect until the PDC fasteners are securely tightened.
- Tighten the PDC fasteners to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the eyelet terminals and install the PDC eyelet fasteners. Tighten the PDC eyelet fasteners to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the PDC cover, making sure the PDC Cover latches are fully engaged.
- Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
